PASTORAL Team

Picture
Debbie Moylan // Lead Pastor

Debbie has a passion for seeing people experience the life-transforming power that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Prior to serving the Body of Christ, she worked in the Theater world, managing, marketing and promoting live theater.  That experience has helped develop her passion for using drama, dance, music and other creative arts to reach people with God's love story for God's creation.  She previously led worship for over 17 years, in addition to writing songs that edify the church and glorify God.  Debbie and her husband Tom moved to Ashby in 2000 with their two kids, Leighton and Cameron, where they have been joined by their youngest, Libby.  They love their greater community and its people.  It is her heart’s desire to see this community positively influenced, families strengthened, and our young people full of purpose and passion.

Donna Slocum // Associate Pastor

Pastor Donna participated in the early prayer circles and visioning meetings before Sanctuary was established in 2013. Over the years, she has served God in numerous churches in our area. Now Donna not only assists in various areas of ministry at Sanctuary, she is also a Hospice Chaplain and the Executive Director of the Christian Healing Center of New England. Donna is most naturally drawn to the discipline of prayer and compassionately connecting with others.  Prior to serving God as a credentialed pastor,  Donna could be found praying with others in the  local gift store in the center of our town.  Donna has always felt a connection to the ecumenical community. She is married to Steve Slocum and they have raise 4 children,  Heather Jean, Steve, Tyler and Tim. They have 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Her hope is to see the Christian community strengthened and to see the community at large recognize that love and unity in essentials is what  connects us all, and to work together to make this community unique in realistic and tangible ways.
